Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer as well as a model and actress. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in an artistic family located in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modelling and acting. She was noticed in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office actress in the world in just three movies. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw married three people.
