Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American chef and author of a cookery book. She is also the Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten started her professional journey at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget papers. The first time she was able to find her profession fascinating intellectually after which she resigned and purchased a tiny grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. After 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. Many other books and newspaper articles were published. While she was at it the Food Network show was also an enormous success. Its products include cookware and kitchen appliances as well as storage containers. Ina was never a part of any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and she is entirely self-taught. Ina is well-known for the simplicity of her cooking as well as her easy approach to entertainment.
