Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared when she made her stage debut. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Little Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also made a mark as a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
