Luciana Paoluzzi grew up in Rome and raised in Rome by her parents. Her father was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian soldier in the Army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. There's no evidence of her having siblings. Luciana is the sole woman who graduated from her high school class from Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering there. Luciana first became a fashion model after just two years.
