Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comedian and actor is famous for her work as a member of the cast in 'Saturday Night Live.' When she took an improv course at the age of nine She began her career as an actor. The initial plan was to be an actor however, she realized her passion was comedy. Then she switched to doing Improv. The path she took to her career started aboard a cruise vessel, playing with fellow members of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong was a regular at events such as Chicago Sketch Fest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She was also a part of Virgin Daiquiri which is an all-female group - and New York Sketchfest. The year 2012 was the year she became famous when she appeared on "Saturday Night Live. She was a co-host on the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers initially, and later alongside Colin Jost. The most memorable moment for Cecily was her performance as the role of "The girl who you would have preferred not to start an argument with at a event'. The same year, she debuted in film in the film 'How to Sponsor a Uterus. The actress is vocal about the portrayal of women in showbiz as bikini-models, or even girlfriends instead of as imposing actors in mainstream movies.
